Each week, Superpowers for Good shares a curated list of new investment offerings added to FINRA-registered crowdfunding portals and by broker-dealers. Using the SuperCrowd Classification Policy, we highlight offerings that qualify for Social Impact, Women in Leadership, and Underrepresented Founder Leadership based on publicly available information and objective criteria. We prioritize these categories and also include other newly launched offerings that may be of interest to our community.
We organize the opportunities into four groups:
Social Impact offerings
Women in Leadership offerings
Underrepresented Founder Leadership offerings
Other new offerings added during the week
In some cases, classification details become clear only after additional public information is available. When an offering meets the criteria, we include it in the appropriate category, even if it was not part of the original weekly list. See the categorized offerings below.

SuperCrowd Social Impact Offerings of the Week:
Balcony Solar for America, led by Co-CEOs Kevin Chou and Cora Stryker, is raising funds on Climatize to finance solar inventory for Bright Saver. Bright Saver is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit reshaping clean energy markets by making plug-in balcony solar accessible to everyday U.S. households. The organization sells plug-in solar kits to its members at documented cost, without adding product markup, and is funded through a $29 annual membership and philanthropy. The current offering provides working capital to purchase solar inventory in container quantities, with proceeds revolving as inventory moves through the purchasing and fulfillment cycle. Suppliers typically require deposits at order and full payment before shipment, while the current cycle from purchase order to warehouse delivery takes approximately four months. The financing is secured by the inventory being purchased. Plug-in balcony solar is already common in Europe, while Bright Saver has been working to overcome regulatory barriers that have limited its availability in the United States. The organization has demonstrated demand for the technology and has helped build a policy movement across 11 states, with related legislation introduced in 35 states. Bright Saver was founded and is operated by former technology entrepreneurs and business operators with experience building and scaling companies. The organization plans to use the financing to maintain sufficient inventory for its growing member base while continuing its broader mission of expanding access to clean-energy technologies, including batteries, heat pumps, and clean-energy financing. With a nonprofit, cost-based distribution model and an advocacy strategy aimed at changing clean-energy access rules, Bright Saver seeks to make household solar more affordable while helping advance the adoption of distributed clean energy in the U.S. (We use AI to help us write offerings summaries.)
SuperCrowd Women in Leadership Offerings of the Week:
HepaTx, with a valuation of $17.5 million, is raising funds on Wefunder. Founded and led by CEO and Co-Founder Eric Schuur, with Claudia Preziosi serving as Chief Business Officer, the company is a pre-clinical regenerative medicine company developing cell therapies designed to regenerate damaged liver tissue as a potential alternative to liver transplantation. Founded on breakthrough technology from Stanford University, HepaTx is developing its lead investigational therapy, Hx-001, which uses hepatocyte-like cells derived from a small sample of a patient’s fat tissue and aims to restore liver function by replacing damaged or diseased liver cells. The company is focused on severe liver conditions including MASH, autoimmune hepatitis, alcoholic hepatitis, and acute-on-chronic liver failure, addressing a significant unmet need in liver care. HepaTx has raised $2.4 million from venture funds, including $500,000 from Greysky Venture Partners, and more than $2 million through Y Combinator Demo Day, including Y Combinator’s standard $150,000 investment. The company has also received $700,000 in grant funding and is backed by venture funds and accelerators including Y Combinator and StartX. HepaTx has entered into a collaboration and license agreement with the Mayo Clinic to support execution of a first-in-human trial, with plans for an IND filing in 2027 and a Phase I clinical trial in 2027/2028. Its proprietary technology is licensed from Stanford and supported by an intellectual property portfolio designed to protect the platform and its applications across multiple liver diseases. The company is working to refine manufacturing and processes for Hx-001, complete IND-enabling studies, qualify clinical sites, initiate clinical testing, and advance the therapy through a Phase I study, while also developing future programs including Hx-002, Hx-003, and its ProteoTrack™ technology. HepaTx aims to develop scalable, potentially off-the-shelf regenerative therapies that could provide another treatment option for patients with severe liver disease while addressing the shortage and high cost of liver transplantation. The company notes that its products are investigational and not approved by regulatory authorities, and that projected financial information and clinical development plans are subject to significant risks and uncertainties. SuperCrowd Underrepresented Founder Leadership Offerings of the Week:
I Was Happy Yesterday is raising funds on Wefunder to finance the production and distribution of the feature film. Produced by Sally Ghaly and Emilia Cotella and written and directed by John Mathis, the project is a gritty sci-fi crime thriller centered on a young detective who repeatedly relives the same day while attempting to stop a series of horrific murders in a futuristic city. The screenplay has been developed and refined over six years and draws inspiration from films such as Prisoners, Memento, Looper, Zodiac, and The French Connection. The filmmaking team brings more than 40 years of collective industry experience, with prior work involving major entertainment companies including Netflix, HBO, Warner Bros., Universal, Paramount, and Sony, as well as festival experience at Raindance and Screamfest and a 2025 Emmy win. Writer/director John Mathis has previously raised funds for the Wefunder film campaign for Where’s Rose, while the producing team includes an HEC Paris MBA-backed producer with experience structuring international co-productions and building large-scale film budgets. I Was Happy Yesterday is in pre-production, with principal photography planned for Buenos Aires and a completion budget of approximately $416,400, plus $100,000 allocated for marketing and approximately $44,900 in Wefunder fees. The production plans to use Argentina’s locations, local talent, and comparatively cost-efficient production environment while bringing key department heads and technical specialists from around the world. The team is currently pursuing A-list talent and discussions with international sales agents and distributors, while also developing a self-distribution strategy intended to retain greater control over the film’s revenue and release. The film plans to target science-fiction audiences as its primary market, with LGBTQ+ and Latin American audiences representing additional audience segments. Marketing plans include behind-the-scenes content, social media campaigns, product placement opportunities, and a planned behind-the-scenes documentary designed to build audience engagement before release. The financing structure provides investors with a waterfall in which revenue first goes toward recouping eligible production and distribution costs, followed by a 20% premium on the original investment, or 22% for eligible early-bird investors during the first $250,000 raised, after which investors participate proportionally in 50% of remaining net profits. The project expects to shoot in October/November 2026, complete post-production over approximately six to eight months, and target a Q4 2027/Q1 2028 release, depending on festivals and other distribution considerations. The filmmakers are seeking a total of approximately $561,350 to cover production, marketing, and associated Wefunder fees, while also exploring production grants and incentives as potential supplemental financing. As with independent film investments generally, the offering carries significant risks, including the possibility that the film may not secure distribution or recoup its production and marketing costs.
