San Diego Tempeh Featured Among New Impact Offerings - April 20, 2026
Each week, Superpowers for Good shares a list of all the new investment offerings added to FINRA-registered crowdfunding portals and by broker-dealers. We focus on and list first those with social impact and underrepresented founders. We also add other newly launched offerings that may be of interest to our community. We’ll share four separate lists:
Impact offerings determined by our proprietary analysis.
Offerings with minority founders.
Deals with women founders.
Other new offerings added during the week.
Sometimes, it takes weeks for our source to determine that a company has a social impact, a woman, or a minority founder. When we discover an offering qualifies for our list, even if it is no longer new, we will include it. See the lists below.
We’re Officially a Substack Bestseller—Because of You
Today, I’m excited to share a milestone that means a lot to me: Superpowers for Good has officially earned Substack’s Bestseller badge.
That means more than 100 readers have chosen to become Impact Members (paid subscribers).
I’m grateful for that recognition, of course. It’s a meaningful signal on the platform. It adds a little visible credibility. It says something important to anyone discovering our work for the first time.
But what matters to me far more than the badge is what it represents.
It represents trust.
Substack put it beautifully in the note they sent: Few things express trust in media better than a paid subscription. I think that’s exactly right.
To everyone who has chosen to become an Impact Member, thank you. Your support does more than help pay for this work. It validates the mission. It says that stories about impact, community, and investing with purpose matter. It says that shining a light on people using business and capital to do good in the world is worth supporting.
And to our free subscribers, thank you, too.
Investing in Climate Action with Purpose: Battery Energy Storage for A Sustainable Future
tl;dr:
Eric Pasi discusses a Climatize crowdfunding campaign raising $400,000 for batteries in the Chicagoland area.
Illinois’ Clean and Reliable Grid Act enables scalable distributed battery aggregation for renewable energy storage.
Enterprise Energy’s track record includes early investor repayment for previous community solar projects.
Eric attributes his success to his Tongan heritage, inspiring his work in renewable energy development.
Investing in Enterprise Energy combines climate solutions with potential financial returns for Climatize investors.
This Earth Day, Don’t Stop at Habits. Fund Climate Solutions.
Today is Earth Day.
That matters more this year, not because the calendar says so, but because the evidence keeps mounting around us. The World Meteorological Organization says 2015 through 2025 were the hottest 11 years ever recorded. It says 2025 was the second or third hottest year on record, at about 1.43°C above the 1850–1900 average, and that extreme weather last year affected millions of people and caused billions of dollars in losses. None of that is abstract anymore. We can see the damage. We can feel it.
So yes, recycle. Use less. Waste less. Drive less. All of that matters.
But Earth Day should also remind us of something else: our personal habits, while important, are not the only lever we have.
In fact, they may not even be the most powerful lever.
We can only recycle 100 percent of the plastic we buy. We can only avoid buying 100 percent of the plastic we would have purchased. Those choices matter morally. They matter culturally. But they do not scale the way capital does.
Investment does.
