You can advertise in Superpowers for Good. Click to learn more.
Each week, Superpowers for Good shares a curated list of new investment offerings added to FINRA-registered crowdfunding portals and by broker-dealers. Using the SuperCrowd Classification Policy, we highlight offerings that qualify for Social Impact, Women in Leadership, and Underrepresented Founder Leadership based on publicly available information and objective criteria. We prioritize these categories and also include other newly launched offerings that may be of interest to our community.
We organize the opportunities into four groups:
Social Impact offerings
Women in Leadership offerings
Underrepresented Founder Leadership offerings
Other new offerings added during the week
In some cases, classification details become clear only after additional public information is available. When an offering meets the criteria, we include it in the appropriate category, even if it was not part of the original weekly list. See the categorized offerings below.

SuperCrowd Social Impact Offerings of the Week:
Green Compass Climate Impact Note is raising funds on Honeycomb Credit. Led by owner Nicole Whalen, the company develops and manages high-impact green stormwater infrastructure projects designed to capture runoff, reduce emissions, and generate recurring, asset-backed revenue through Washington, DC’s Stormwater Retention Credit (SRC) market. Green Compass builds and maintains projects certified by the District’s Department of Energy and Environment (DOEE), enabling developers and property owners to meet stormwater compliance requirements while supporting environmental improvements in underserved communities. The company’s work combines clean water infrastructure with sustainability-focused building solutions, including energy benchmarking, EV charging, solar energy coordination, and energy-efficiency retrofits for commercial and multifamily properties.
Since 2020, Green Compass has deployed eight green stormwater infrastructure systems that capture more than 5.3 million gallons of runoff annually while reducing approximately eight tons of carbon emissions each year. The company has invested $1.3 million into community-based infrastructure projects, contributed to the creation of more than 100 jobs, generated utility savings, and supported environmental restoration efforts through volunteer engagement and the planting of 1,688 trees and shrubs. Its zero-upfront-cost financing model enables churches, nonprofits, and affordable housing providers to implement sustainable infrastructure improvements without major financial barriers, helping expand access to climate-focused solutions across local communities.
Green Compass also benefits from a strategic position within Washington, DC’s regulated SRC ecosystem, creating recurring demand for its projects and long-term revenue potential tied to environmental compliance markets. The company plans to use proceeds from the current crowdfunding campaign to support pre-construction planning, project deployment, maintenance operations, workforce support, marketing, and equipment purchases needed for future expansion. Returning investors from the company’s previous crowdfunding offering are eligible for an interest rate increase from 7% to 7.5%. Green Compass was also featured on the Superpowers For Good show, where Nicole Whalen explained how the company is tackling climate change through nature-based solutions for commercial and multifamily buildings. SuperCrowd Women in Leadership Offerings of the Week:
Long Beach Mushrooms is raising funds on Honeycomb Credit. Co-founded by Mia Nguyen, who serves as lead operator, and Justin Nguyen, the company is an urban mushroom farm based in Long Beach, California, focused on cultivating gourmet and functional mushrooms through a vertically integrated production model. Long Beach Mushrooms grows, processes, and packages all of its products in-house, offering fresh lion’s mane, oyster, shiitake, and chestnut mushrooms alongside value-added products such as tinctures, mushroom coffee alternatives, and grow kits. The business serves local farmers markets, restaurants, and direct-to-consumer customers while emphasizing sustainability, community engagement, and regenerative agricultural practices.
The company has evolved from a garage startup into a growing multi-channel farming operation with demonstrated demand across wholesale, retail, and direct sales channels. By combining premium mushroom cultivation with educational workshops and sustainable reuse of spent mushroom substrate, Long Beach Mushrooms has built a loyal customer base and positioned itself as both a local food producer and an advocate for urban agriculture. Its vertically integrated structure allows the business to maintain quality control, freshness, and operational flexibility while expanding into higher-margin product categories.
The company plans to use proceeds from the current crowdfunding campaign to invest in upgraded production equipment, climate control systems, and expanded infrastructure designed to improve efficiency, consistency, and production capacity. These improvements are expected to reduce operational bottlenecks, lower labor costs, increase harvest reliability, and support additional restaurant, subscription, and market partnerships. Increased capacity will also enable Long Beach Mushrooms to scale its higher-margin wellness and specialty product lines, strengthening profitability and supporting long-term sustainable growth in the growing functional food and urban agriculture markets. SuperCrowd Underrepresented Founder Leadership Offerings of the Week:
Mutombo Coffee, with a valuation of $20 million, is raising funds on StartEngine. Led by Chief Executive Officer, President, Board Member, and Principal Financial Officer Robert C. Bush Jr., the company is a purpose-driven specialty coffee brand focused on ethically sourced premium coffee from women-led farms in Africa and Latin America. Co-founded alongside the late NBA Hall of Famer and humanitarian Dikembe Mutombo, Mutombo Coffee combines high-quality coffee products with a mission centered on economic empowerment, community development, and responsible sourcing. The company offers a growing portfolio that includes single-origin coffees, cold brews, K-cups, ready-to-drink beverages, coffee sachets, stroopwafels, chocolate products, and chocolate-covered espresso beans, serving consumers through retail, direct-to-consumer, hospitality, and institutional channels.
Mutombo Coffee addresses inequality within the global coffee industry, where women contribute a majority of the labor but often lack equal access to financing, land ownership, and market opportunities. Through its direct-sourcing model, the company works to bypass intermediaries and provide above-market payments to women farmers while supporting broader community-focused initiatives tied to education, entrepreneurship, and local infrastructure. The company believes its sourcing partnerships across Africa and Latin America help strengthen supply chain resilience while creating meaningful economic opportunities for farming communities.
The business has demonstrated strong traction with nearly $2 million in revenue and approximately 10x sales growth since 2021, validating demand for its ethical and premium coffee offerings. Mutombo Coffee has built relationships with professional sports teams, universities, multinational corporations, and global brands, including collaborations with the Houston Rockets and Temple University, while also hosting coffee experiences for celebrities and athletes such as Steve Harvey, Johnny Damon, and Chris Tucker. The company’s growth strategy combines hyperlocal marketing, social commerce, strategic partnerships, and an asset-light operational model designed to support scalable national expansion in the growing ethical coffee market.
Mutombo Coffee plans to continue expanding through retail partnerships, direct-to-consumer sales, sports and university collaborations, and community-driven activations that integrate culture, commerce, and social impact. With a leadership team bringing more than 165 years of combined experience across industries including consumer products, logistics, government, media, and finance, the company aims to build a nationally recognized coffee brand rooted in ethical sourcing, cultural connection, and long-term community empowerment while leveraging technology and AI-driven marketing to accelerate growth.
