You can advertise in Superpowers for Good. Click to learn more.
Each week, Superpowers for Good shares a curated list of new investment offerings added to FINRA-registered crowdfunding portals and by broker-dealers. Using the SuperCrowd Classification Policy, we highlight offerings that qualify for Social Impact, Women in Leadership, and Underrepresented Founder Leadership based on publicly available information and objective criteria. We prioritize these categories and also include other newly launched offerings that may be of interest to our community.
We organize the opportunities into four groups:
Social Impact offerings
Women in Leadership offerings
Underrepresented Founder Leadership offerings
Other new offerings added during the week
In some cases, classification details become clear only after additional public information is available. When an offering meets the criteria, we include it in the appropriate category, even if it was not part of the original weekly list. See the categorized offerings below.

SuperCrowd Social Impact Offerings of the Week:
Next Thing Technologies, with a $93.7 million valuation, is raising funds on DealMaker Securities. Founded and led by CEO and President Jason Adams, the company is developing next-generation sodium-ion battery technology designed to provide a safer, more affordable, and longer-lasting alternative to traditional lithium-ion batteries for residential, commercial, utility-scale, and data center energy storage applications. By leveraging sodium—an element that is significantly more abundant than lithium—the company aims to reduce battery costs, improve safety through non-flammable chemistry, and extend battery life while supporting the accelerating global transition to renewable energy. Its first commercial product is planned as a residential energy storage system, with a long-term vision of powering homes, businesses, AI data centers, EV charging infrastructure, remote microgrids, and utility-scale energy projects.
Next Thing Technologies is targeting multiple high-growth markets, including the projected $2.1 trillion renewable energy sector, residential energy storage, grid-scale storage, data centers, EV charging infrastructure, and remote energy systems. The company plans to generate revenue through direct-to-consumer battery sales and subscriptions, commercial and utility-scale deployments, and technology licensing partnerships with battery manufacturers. The company believes its sodium-ion technology can deliver significantly lower production costs while eliminating reliance on scarce materials, creating a compelling value proposition for customers seeking reliable, domestic energy storage solutions.
The company has demonstrated meaningful progress since its founding in 2019, including the development of working sodium-ion prototype cells, extensive commercial viability testing, successful integration of a functioning battery system, and nearly $5 million previously raised from more than 5,700 investors. Next Thing Technologies has also assembled an advisory team that includes leading battery researchers and secured an exclusive licensing partnership focused on further reducing battery production costs. Its commercialization roadmap includes developing commercial-scale prototypes, initiating pilot deployments, pursuing UL safety certification, and expanding into large-scale deployments beginning in 2029.
With growing demand for renewable energy storage, AI infrastructure, and resilient power systems, Next Thing Technologies aims to establish itself as a leading domestic sodium-ion battery platform. By combining proprietary technology, multiple revenue opportunities, strategic research partnerships, and a scalable commercialization strategy, the company seeks to build an integrated energy storage business capable of serving residential consumers, commercial customers, utilities, and global manufacturing partners while advancing a safer and more sustainable alternative to lithium-ion batteries. SuperCrowd Women in Leadership Offerings of the Week:
ShredPay, with a $50 million valuation, is raising funds on Republic. Founded and led by Co-Founders and Co-CEOs Melissa Muehlfeld and Mauricio Beugelmans, the company has developed a transparent, non-custodial crypto platform designed to make stablecoins and digital assets easier, safer, and more accessible for mainstream users. Unlike traditional centralized exchanges that hold customer assets, ShredPay allows users to maintain control of their own wallets while providing a simple fintech-style experience for buying, selling, storing, and transferring cryptocurrencies. The platform also enables peer-to-peer stablecoin payments, access to risk-rated decentralized finance (DeFi) yield opportunities, and seamless integration with traditional banking, aiming to bridge the gap between conventional finance and blockchain technology.
ShredPay operates through a diversified business model with three primary revenue streams: transaction fees on payments, swaps, and yield deployment; recurring software-as-a-service fees from banks and merchants integrating its infrastructure; and value-added services such as compliance monitoring, liquidity management, and payment routing. The company is positioning itself to serve both retail consumers and financial institutions by providing transparent digital asset infrastructure that simplifies blockchain adoption while maintaining user ownership of assets.
The company has already gained meaningful traction with a live consumer application supporting cryptocurrency purchases, stablecoin payments, and DeFi yield products. ShredPay has raised $1.9 million from investors and is actively pursuing institutional partnerships, including discussions with financial organizations managing more than $3 trillion in assets. Additional milestones include a Wyoming Stable Token Commission Licensed Service Provider application in progress and banking core processor integrations that could provide access to more than 8,000 banks and credit unions. The leadership team brings decades of experience in securities law, compliance, banking, and digital assets from organizations including Morgan Stanley, Charles Schwab, and leading global cryptocurrency exchanges.
With cryptocurrency adoption remaining limited by concerns around trust, security, and usability, ShredPay aims to bring the next 100 million Americans on-chain through a transparent, user-controlled financial platform. By combining regulated financial expertise, decentralized infrastructure, institutional partnerships, and an intuitive user experience, the company seeks to expand mainstream access to stablecoins and digital assets while building a trusted platform for the future of blockchain-based financial services. SuperCrowd Underrepresented Founder Leadership Offerings of the Week:
Wayra Roots is raising funds on Honeycomb Credit. Founded and led by owners Cesar Bermudez Arias and Carla Torrealba Yanez, the company is a South Florida-based food business dedicated to bringing ancestral foods back to modern families through handcrafted frozen cassava arepas made from whole cassava root rather than processed flours. Using traditional recipes and simple, clean ingredients, Wayra Roots offers gluten-free, vegan, and clean-label products that provide a nutritious and convenient alternative to highly processed frozen foods. The company has built its brand around transparency, quality, and authentic community connections while making traditional Latin American cuisine more accessible to health-conscious consumers.
Wayra Roots has steadily expanded its business from local farmers’ markets to regional retail locations and now offers nationwide shipping for its frozen product line. The company has developed a production process that utilizes whole cassava root to create minimally processed foods and plans to broaden its product portfolio with sauces and additional offerings made from simple, ancestral ingredients. Its growth strategy focuses on expanding retail distribution across Florida before scaling nationally over the next three years, serving the increasing demand for wholesome, plant-based convenience foods.
The company has demonstrated early traction by validating its products through direct customer engagement at farmers’ markets and successfully expanding into retail partnerships while building a loyal customer base. Funding from the current Honeycomb Credit campaign will be used to increase production capacity, purchase inventory, improve packaging, and support expansion into additional retail locations throughout Florida. These investments are expected to improve operational efficiency, fulfill larger customer orders, and strengthen the company’s ability to scale without compromising product quality.
With growing consumer demand for clean-label, gluten-free, and minimally processed foods, Wayra Roots is well positioned to capitalize on trends toward healthier eating and sustainable food production. By combining traditional recipes, high-quality ingredients, expanding distribution channels, and a mission-driven approach to food, Wayra Roots aims to establish itself as a leading provider of ancestral-inspired frozen foods while making nourishing, authentic meals more accessible to families across the United States.
