My family includes a number of medical professionals, including my Wife (retired ICU nurse), our Daughter (ICU Physical Therapist), my Sister (Pediatric Nurse Practioner), Doctor Brother-In-Law (Radiologist), and I don't really count with one year as pre-med. We all received our vaccinations as soon as we were able. Over time, patients have proven - and continue to prove during Covid-19 that vaccines work. Your example on polio is one of the greatest conversations I have seen up to now.
