Today, the Future of Impact Crowdfunding Unfolds Live
Watch the Crowdfunding Professional Association’s 2025 Summit—streaming here on Superpowers for Good—and hear from the leaders shaping mission-driven finance.
Here’s why our community should gather around the (virtual) table today for the Crowdfunding Professional Association’s 2025 Regulated Investment Crowdfunding Summit—and why we’ve made it effortless to watch. We’ve embedded the live YouTube stream at the top of this post, so you can keep the program open all day in your inbox or browser. Prefer the living-room experience? You can also tune in on e360tv. The entire day is focused on regulated investment crowdfunding, which makes it squarely “home field” for SuperCrowd readers—founders, investors, ecosystem builders, and policy-watchers who care about capital that creates impact.
I’ll be on stage twice—moderating one panel and serving as a panelist on another—so you’ll see familiar faces. (Transparency note: The Super Crowd, Inc. is supporting the Summit as a sponsor, and I serve as a volunteer co-chair of the CfPA.) But I’d be urging you to watch even if I weren’t involved. The agenda packs a rare blend of market data, operator know-how, policy insight, and mission-driven practice into a single, continuous broadcast you can absorb with a cup of coffee and a notebook.
How to watch (Today)
Press play on the YouTube player at the top. That’s it.

Times are Eastern; the livestream runs roughly 9:00 am to 5:30 pm.
Why this Summit matters today
Regulated investment crowdfunding has crossed from “interesting” to indispensable for thousands of founders and investors. Yet the rules, tools, and norms are still evolving—fast. If you participate in this ecosystem, the voices gathered today are precisely the ones shaping what happens next: regulators and practitioners, portal operators and compliance leaders, marketers and media, impact investors and community-builders. You’ll come away with sharper strategy, crisper tactics, and a clearer picture of where the puck is headed.
What you’ll see—an hour-by-hour tour
8:30 a.m. — Doors open
On-site in DC, registration and breakfast are underway. Watching from home? Grab your coffee and set up your workspace. Vince Bowen, our MC, keeps the day moving.
9:00 a.m. — Opening context
CfPA President Jenny Kassan sets the tone—crowdfunding as a durable, values-aligned engine for capital formation and community wealth.
9:20 a.m. — Market reality check
Chris Lustrino (KingsCrowd) delivers a state-of-the-industry briefing—data-backed trends for volumes, valuations, investor behavior, and sector momentum. Expect charts and context you’ll quote for months.
9:42–10:15 a.m. — Rewriting the Capital Formation Playbook (I’m moderating)
We’ll explore how capital markets are shifting—deal structures, compliance, accounting, and investor engagement—and what’s likely over the next 12–24 months. I’ll moderate this one. Panelists include Meighan Leon (DealMaker), Craig Denlinger (Artesian CPA), and J. Martin “Marty” Tate (Kunzler Bean & Adamson). If you’re planning a raise or advising one, this is practical foresight you can use today.
10:15–10:30 a.m. — Short break
Stretch, share the stream, refill your mug.
10:30–11:00 a.m. — Patchwork & Plumbing
A frank look at two friction points: regulatory fragmentation abroad and the fiduciary/custody constraints RIAs and fund managers face at home. With Andrew Field (GECA) and Angela Barbash (Revalue), moderated by CfPA Co-Chair Brian Christie. If you’re vying for more institutional participation in Reg CF, this session names the obstacles—and the fixes.
Late morning — Sponsor & innovation spotlights + Adjacent Innovations panel
Brief sponsor remarks lead into Crowdfunding & Adjacent Innovations—from Securities-as-a-Service to mirror tokens and retirement-policy proposals—with Matt Venturi (ClearingBid) and Andrew Stephenson (CrowdCheck Law), moderated by CfPA Vice Chair Scott McIntyre. Immediately after, an Innovation Spotlight asks: could a university or nonprofit own and operate a Reg CF portal? Hear from Stephanie Geller (Community Wealth Builders) and Dr. Jason Cherubini (Loyola Maryland). These sessions connect policy and product in ways founders and ecosystem builders should track closely.
12:00–1:00 p.m. — Lunch
On the ground, it’s networking time. On the stream, use the break to jot action items and send quick emails while ideas are fresh.
1:00–1:20 p.m. — A Regulator’s Perspective
James Murphy, Risk Monitoring Director at FINRA, walks through what it really takes to launch and operate a compliant, resilient portal—pitfalls, supervision, investor protection, and exam readiness. Even if you don’t run a portal, understanding how regulators evaluate them makes you a smarter issuer or advisor.
1:22–1:58 p.m. — Crypto & Crowdfunding
With laws evolving and proposals like the Clarity Act in the conversation, what could digital-asset policy mean for Reg CF and Reg A+? Brian Korn (Manatt) moderates Teresa Goody Guillén, Dina Ellis Rochkind, and Julian Haffner—bringing both legal and policy lenses. Expect nuance, not hype.
2:00–2:30 p.m. — Fireside with SEC Commissioner Hester M. Peirce
This is the policymaker conversation everyone circles. Commissioner Hester M. Peirce sits down with Brian Christie to weigh capital formation and investor protection—and how market participants can contribute constructively. If you care about where exemptions are headed, don’t miss it.
2:30–2:45 p.m. — Group photo & breather
A perfect moment to share the stream link with your team and invite them to hop in for the afternoon focus on impact and community.
2:45–3:15 p.m. — Crowdfunded & Mission-Driven: The Double Dividend of Impact Investing (I’m a panelist)
I’ll join Jenny Kassan and Eve Picker, moderated by Eric Cox, to discuss how Reg CF broadens who gets funded and why mission-driven companies often deliver both financial and social returns. This is squarely aligned with our SuperCrowd mission—expect examples, metrics, and practical takeaways for founders and investors who lead with impact.
3:20–3:50 p.m. — Community Is the New Capital
Great campaigns aren’t just transactions; they’re the start of durable relationships. Jason Fishman (DNA), Shelley Golan (Potomac Growth), and Darren Marble (“Going Public”), moderated by Maria Springer, break down storytelling, digital marketing, campaign ops, and long-tail engagement. If you’ve asked, “What should we do after we close?”—this is your playbook.
3:51–4:30 p.m. — From Reg A to the Big Boards
For some issuers, Reg CF/Reg A+ is the starting line, not the finish. Mark Elenowitz (Digital Offering) and Aaron Shafton (DealMaker Securities), moderated by Andrew Dix (Crowded Media Group), explore how to navigate the path to a national exchange: prerequisites, pitfalls, and when “public” actually makes sense.
4:30–5:00 p.m. — Industry Awards & Close
We’ll celebrate standout contributors and wrap with closing remarks. A fitting finish—recognizing the people and firms building the market we all rely on.
Who should tune in today
Founders preparing to raise—or planning the next raise.
Investors (retail and professional) seeking better diligence signals and portfolio strategy.
Portal, legal, and compliance pros who want regulator-level clarity and peer-tested practices.
Ecosystem builders—accelerators, economic-development leaders, community-wealth advocates—looking for models that scale.
A final encouragement
Block your day—even if you can’t watch every minute. Keep today’s YouTube player open at the top of this post. Pop in for the sessions that map to your immediate decisions (market data, portal practices, crypto policy, the SEC fireside) and stay for the ones that shape your long-term strategy (impact returns, community building, and pathways from Reg A to a listing). Share the stream with your team, board, or co-founders. The price of admission is a click; the ROI is clarity on where regulated investment crowdfunding is headed—and how you can lead today.
