Project: The money raised will help 16-year-old Nesha. Her father works as a driver and earns Rs. 4,000 per month. Her mother is a homemaker. They didn’t even have enough to afford one ambulance from Rao hospital to Apollo hospital. Rao hospital had refused treatment. The parents begged a stranger who was kind enough to pay for the ride.

Use of funds: While Nesha found a matching donor in her mother and has undergone a successful transplant, the family has been struggling to raise the necessary Rs 30 lakh for the rest of her treatment.

Anecdote: For Puja Bhatnagar, ImpactGuru.com helped raise Rs 25 lakhs in just 14 days for a lifesaving liver transplant. The story became so viral that it was featured prominently in the national edition of The Hindu and Times of India.
