The Wounded Walk Teams Up With Emmy Winners And Launches The “One Pill, Twice Daily” Film Campaign
LEESBURG, VA – JULY 27, 2015 – The Wounded Walk is on a mission. What started out as a walk across the United States to raise awareness for our nations wounded brothers and sisters in arms has now become a full time occupation for former Marines Adam Shatarsky and Ross Delafield. Over several months, thousands of miles and many pairs of shoes, their courageous journeys have inspired the nation, leading to the formation of The Wounded Walk; an official 501c3 non-profit focused specifically on helping our veterans suffering with PTSD.
On July 20th, The Wounded Walk launched an Indiegogo campaign to raise funds for the production and filming of “One Pill, Twice Daily”, a documentary about the struggles our wounded veterans face while transitioning back into civilian life. Teaming up with Emmy Award winning production company Lou Reda productions on the project, “One Pill Twice Daily” will take an in depth look at PTSD, the many methods for treating the disease, and The Wounded Walks mission to create experiences that empower veterans suffering from it. Known for the amazing visuals and production of History Channels WWII in HD and Vietnam in HD, Lou Reda productions aims to document Shatarsky and Delafield’s adventures across the country, highlighting their mission and placing a spotlight on veterans using natural methods to overcome the injuries they sustained serving their country.
