The Giving Project Launches Custom Harley-Davidson Sweepstakes with Ryan Hurst Benefitting ASPCA and Others
Press Release – (BUFFALO, NY) – The Giving Project has a new look and campaign this summer to benefit the Almost Home Animal Rescue, K9 Youth Alliance and the ASPCA® (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals®). Founder of The Giving Project, Joseph Castle aims to expand the innovative form of giving on a national level by teaming up with actor Ryan Hurst, who plays Opie on the FX series, “Sons of Anarchy” and Beta from AMC’s “The Walking Dead.” The sweepstakes includes a custom Harley-Davidson motorcycle built by MotorCity Customs and a meet-and-greet with Ryan Hurst.
“I am thrilled to partner with Ryan Hurst as we embark on this year-long national campaign,” Castle said. “We have launched our new website that will host the online sweepstakes as well as other regional sweepstakes as they come up which will benefit our nonprofit partner organizations.”
The Giving Project is a unique online fundraising platform working to raise awareness to deserving charities. By collaborating with high-profile individuals and nonprofit organizations, The Giving Project creates local, regional and national fundraising campaigns with extraordinary prizes or experiences. Their modern approach to fundraising makes charitable giving easy and enjoyable.
“The Giving Project is dynamic in that any company, individual, or nonprofit organization can utilize our platform,” Castle said. “Our Workplace Giving Initiative presents employers with a cost-free way to get their employees engaged and become involved in the community. Employees of businesses involved in the initiative are given bonus entries whenever they choose to donate to one of our campaigns, simply for being an employee.”
Employers are provided with the dollar amount that their employees were able to raise for each campaign and are given the opportunity to match it. Businesses that join the Workplace Giving Initiative are in the running to be recognized as a certified charitable employer at our year-end awards. Castle encourages employers to enroll to create a philanthropic work culture.
Ryan Hurst’s Harley-Davidson campaign is now live at givingproject.com. The winner will be announced in September 2020 and will be flown to Farmington Hills where Hurst will personally present and autograph the bike. Individuals can enter their contact information for free campaign entries or donate at different giving levels which can include auto-donations for a better chance at winning. The more you give, the more entries you get for the campaign. The Harley-Davidson/Ryan Hurst sweepstakes is limited to U.S. residents who are 18 years of age or older.
