Street Artist, Mr. Brainwash, Creates Original Art Piece To Benefit Female Filmmaking Nonprofit, We Do It Together
Press Release – Los Angeles, CA (November 27, 2018) – In the spirit of Giving Tuesday, Thierry Guetta (a/k/a Mr. Brainwash), an internationally recognized French-born, Los Angeles-based street pop artist and filmmaker, has donated a one-of-a-kind art piece created specifically for We Do It Together, a local nonprofit studio dedicated to female filmmakers.
The original art piece is valued at $20,000. All proceeds from its sale will benefit We Do It Together to help advance its mission to produce films about women, by women, for all audiences.
Of his donated piece, Mr. Brainwash explains, “When women and men join forces, they can change the world faster and make life even more beautiful. This is why I support We Do it Together as they empower women and help to create a more equal society.”

The subject of Banksy’s Academy Award-nominated documentary Exit Through the Gift Shop, Thierry Guetta (a/k/a Mr. Brainwash) is a popular street pop artist and filmmaker whose work has been seen through solo gallery shows in Los Angeles and worldwide, and through projects for myriad celebrities including Madonna, for whom he deproigned the cover art for her album Celebration.
