SuperCrowd Social Impact Offerings of the Week:
New Way Homes is raising funds on EquityVest. The company is focused on developing below-market-rate and affordable houses, including workforce, supportive, and other discounted and financially sustainable houses. New Way Homes achieves its target by pairing private impact investment with new development strategies and non-profit landowners and has most of its partnerships with black churches for its current and future projects. The company has completed the construction of 19 homes, with 149 more units entitled and over 300 units in the development pipeline. Sibley V. Simon founded New Way Homes in April 2015. The current crowdfunding campaign has a minimum target of $50,000 and a maximum target of $5 million. SuperCrowd Minority Founders Offerings of the Week:
Epi One, with a valuation of $45.01 million, is raising funds on StartEngine. The company has developed a diagnostic testing platform for early detection of cancer. Epi One uses its innovative DNA-based biomarker identification methods for faster and more accurate detection of cancer and can be used for the detection of prostate, lung, and pancreatic cancers. The company is led by an experienced team and is backed by $3.1 million in early angel funding. Michael Marquardt, Fang “Sophia” Fang, and Dr. Neng Yang founded Epi One in June 2016. The current crowdfunding campaign has a minimum target of $14,996.80 and a maximum target of $4.9 million. The campaign proceeds will be used for lab setup and equipment, company employment, research and development, marketing, legal and patent work, information technology, and working capital. SuperCrowd Women Founders Offerings of the Week:
GIGA, with a valuation of $7.9 million, is raising funds on NetCapital. The company is combining women’s gymnastics pro league and multimedia platforms to unlock women’s gymnastics’ full potential. GIGA is building the platform for top gymnastic athletes to monetize their talent on the field of play and get equal opportunities to sustain or extend competitive careers. The company has received two funding grants and over $100,000 in sponsorship deals and has commitments from nine top world Olympic gymnasts. Maura Fox, Aimee Boorman, and LaPrise Williams founded GIGA in January 2022. The current crowdfunding campaign has a minimum target of $10,000 and a maximum target of $574,221.77. SuperCrowd LGBTQ Founders Offerings of the Week:
Rainbow Unicorn Games is raising funds on Wefunder. The company makes exciting and unique games for women and other underrepresented audiences. Rainbow Unicorn Games aims to create a safe community of awareness for social challenges and manage them in a fun and supportive gaming environment. The company sticks to a swift-to-market and agile production approach and develops a bare-bones MVP for an early launch. Athena Peters and Nikolina Finska founded Rainbow Unicorn Games in January 2022. The current crowdfunding campaign has a minimum target of $50,000 and a maximum target of $1.24 million.
