Topanga Ridge Group Featured Among New SuperCrowd Impact Offerings - May 11, 2026
Each week, Superpowers for Good shares a curated list of new investment offerings added to FINRA-registered crowdfunding portals and by broker-dealers. Using the SuperCrowd Classification Policy, we highlight offerings that qualify for Social Impact, Women in Leadership, and Underrepresented Founder Leadership based on publicly available information and objective criteria. We prioritize these categories and also include other newly launched offerings that may be of interest to our community.

Women-Led Film “Topple” Aims to Uplift Female Voices in Front and Behind the Camera

The production aims to model sustainability, avoiding toxic materials, using hybrid vehicles, and supporting a plant-based diet.

Hidden Valuation Is a Red Flag for Crowdfund Investors
Teddy Lyons at Kingscrowd has done the investment crowdfunding community a real service with his analysis, “Who’s Hiding the Valuation? A Crowdfunding Transparency Study.” In the piece, Teddy and the Kingscrowd team reviewed 880 equity crowdfunding offerings and documented a troubling transparency gap, especially among Reg A+ offerings.
Since I read Teddy’s post when it was published weeks ago, I’ve reflected on this over and over. It is so important that I decided I need to bubble it back to the top of the conversation in the regulated investment crowdfunding community.
Teddy frames the issue well. “What is a startup actually worth?” he asks. That is the question every investor must answer before making an equity investment. Whether the security is common stock, preferred stock, a SAFE or a convertible note, valuation—or the mechanism for determining valuation—is central to the investor’s prospects for a financial return.
Other deal terms matter, sometimes a great deal. Liquidation preferences, conversion discounts, interest rates, maturity dates, voting rights, pro rata rights and information rights can all affect outcomes. Still, from a financial standpoint, nothing matters more than valuation. A great company can be a poor investment if the entry price is too high. A risky company can sometimes be attractive if the price fairly reflects the risk.

Early PurposeBuilt100™ Applications Signal Strong Momentum for Ranking of America’s Fastest-Growing Mission-Driven Businesses
Los Angeles, Calif. — May 14, 2026 — The Super Crowd, Inc., a public benefit corporation, announced today that early applications for PurposeBuilt100™, the new national recognition program honoring the 100 fastest-growing purpose-driven companies in America, are already showing strong momentum and impressive business quality.
PurposeBuilt100 will debut as the culminating showcase of SuperCrowd26 featuring PurposeBuilt100, a three-day, televised virtual event taking place August 25–27, 2026. Based on applications received to date, the emerging applicant pool is substantial. Applications have already arrived from companies on both coasts and from several states in between, suggesting broad national interest in recognition that connects growth, purpose and credibility.
