Solar for Smith's Supermarket Featured Among New Impact Offerings - September 09, 2024
Each week, Superpowers for Good shares a list of new impact-related offerings added to FINRA-Registered crowdfunding portals and by broker-dealers. We’ll share four separate lists:
Impact offerings determined by our proprietary analysis.
Offerings with minority founders.
Deals with women founders.
Those with LGBTQ founders.
Sometimes, it takes weeks for our source to determine that a company has a social impact, a woman, minority or LGBTQ founder. When we discover an offering qualifies for our list, even if it is no longer new, we will include it. See the lists below.

See the Great Companies We're Considering at the September Impact Cherub Club Meeting
As we gear up for the 1:00 PM Eastern, September 17, meeting of the Impact Cherub Club, we invite you to join us. The club meets to review impact investments everyone is eligible to make, and virtually anyone can afford. We share responsibility for completing basic due diligence before making investments. While members are encouraged to invest in the Club’s picks, no one is required to invest.
The Club is open to all “Impact Members” of the SuperCrowd (our paying subscribers). I don’t touch the money members invest. They do so directly for their own accounts. We benefit from new members by the fresh perspectives they bring and our growing social impact. Please join us!
Next Meeting—September 17, at 1:00 PM Eastern
At our next meeting on September 17, 2024, at 1:00 PM Eastern/10:00 AM Pacific, consistent with our plans for future sessions, the agenda will have three items:

How a Stray Dog Changed Everything for Jack Jokinen
tl;dr:
Jack Jokinen shares the heartwarming story of how a stray, malnourished dog, Susie, unexpectedly entered his home and how his family decided to adopt her, inspiring many others to adopt rescue dogs.
After receiving $42,000 in donations for Susie’s medical care, Jack and his family used the excess funds to help support 366 dog adoptions over the span of a leap year.
Jack discusses Susie’s ongoing recovery, her joyful integration into their family, and how her story has touched the lives of many, leading to the publication of his children’s book, A Stray Dog for Christmas.
Jack reflects on empathy as his superpower, explaining how a focus on understanding others has positively influenced both his personal and professional life, particularly in his work as a customer success manager.
Jack encourages empathy in his children by helping them understand the motivations behind others' actions and emphasizes the importance of living by example to inspire kindness and empathy in future generations.
