Jordan Energy Featured Among New SuperCrowd Impact Offerings - August 31, 2026
Each week, Superpowers for Good shares a curated list of new investment offerings added to FINRA-registered crowdfunding portals and by broker-dealers. Using the SuperCrowd Classification Policy, we highlight offerings that qualify for Social Impact, Women in Leadership, and Underrepresented Founder Leadership based on publicly available information and objective criteria. We prioritize these categories and also include other newly launched offerings that may be of interest to our community.
We organize the opportunities into four groups:
Social Impact offerings
Women in Leadership offerings
Underrepresented Founder Leadership offerings
Other new offerings added during the week
In some cases, classification details become clear only after additional public information is available. When an offering meets the criteria, we include it in the appropriate category, even if it was not part of the original weekly list. See the categorized offerings below.

‘Success Leaves Turds’
I have been producing events for a long time. I have never been this proud of one.
SuperCrowd26 featuring PurposeBuilt100™ ran three days and 27 hours of live television — 41 sessions worth keeping. I’ve spent the week since going back through every transcript, and what keeps hitting me is how little filler there was. Nobody phoned it in. People disagreed on camera. They admitted things founders usually admit only in private.
So instead of a recap, here are my favorite lines.
Start with the one that nearly got the microphone cut.
Steven Sashen of Xero Shoes stood in front of a room full of purpose-driven founders, at an event called SuperCrowd, and said:
“Everyone loves to say success leaves clues. I’m here to tell you success leaves turds — things that are left behind on what looks like a path that you do not want to step in.”
— Steven Sashen, Your Purpose Doesn’t Matter (And Other Heresies) ▶ Watch the full session on SuperCrowd.tv
Then he kept going. “This is where Devin may turn off the microphone. So P is your purpose. And I’m just gonna cut right to the chase. Your purpose doesn’t matter.” He closed with: “If any of it was helpful, you clearly misunderstood me.”
I did not turn off the microphone. And the wild thing is that Anne Carlson had already proven his point from the inside.
Ancient Plant Science Fuels NextGen Scientific’s Cancer Drug Pipeline
tl;dr:
Jason West’s team is translating an ancient Middle Eastern plant into cancer drugs and supplements.

A Regulation D raise seeks just over $10 million from accredited investors to accelerate trials.
Low-ego brilliance helps Jason keep hard conversations focused on data, kindness and learning.
A Declaration for Independent Businesses
2026 marks the American Independent Business Alliance’s 25th year of growing the local economy movement. We have nurtured dozens of independent business alliances, hundreds of linked nonprofit organizations, and thousands of local changemakers who work every day to strengthen their local economies and communities.
While many organizations are promoting various aspects of the local economy movement, we are mindful of the special importance of local alliances of independent businesses. The American Independent Business Alliance (AMIBA) remains a powerful convener of local business networks, enabling them to connect, share best practices, and improve their effectiveness.
We are reaching out to independent business owners, organizations, and leaders aligned with our mission in the hope that you will stand with us and embrace our Declaration of Independent Businesses below. By bringing together millions of independent businesses and their supporters, we will leverage this declaration to catalyze the growth of local economies everywhere.
