Kindness begets kindness, it's infectious that way. We started a project, Nature In The Classroom, to enrich the classroom by donating ceiling murals of tree canopies to elementary schools. Mother nature has her way of fostering kindness, it brings out the best in us. We have seen the trees in classrooms make the kids stop and think, to view themselves as part of a greater whole. To want to help "nachure" and each other.
That is such a profound lesson. I understand. I hadn't thought of it quite that way before, but I often reflect on something I observed a few summers ago. I am convinced that I saw insects playing. It changed my whole view of insects. I want to be kinder to them.
Wow Devin! Thank you for joining me on this great quest. I agree wholeheartedly. Kindness Big and Small matters. I've always believed a smile breaks cultural and language barriers. It's such a beautiful way to say "I see you, you matter". I'm excited to hear about others experiences with #kindness throughout the month.
