Days for Girls, one of the honorable mentions in our Hand Up for Social Good Award is providing feminine hygiene kits to disadvantaged women, striving for a goal of “Every girl. Everywhere. Period.”

Girls without access to proper education and hygiene supplies, often miss days of school each month, handicapping their education and their careers.

This video highlights the work being done at Cornell University to help supply kits to young women.

On a personal note, I’ve recently come to appreciate that women’s issue’s can’t be solved until men engage–otherwise, we’re part of the problem.
