SuperCrowd26 featuring PurposeBuilt100™ continues today, Wednesday, August 26—and Day Two takes us from the realities of scaling purpose-driven companies all the way to our live investment pitch.
You can watch the entire televised program free on SuperCrowd.tv, including on Roku and Amazon Fire TV. Or stay right here in Superpowers for Good: the three video players above carry today’s broadcast in three blocks—9:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m., 1:00–2:00 p.m. and 2:00–6:00 p.m. Pacific. Just click the player for the part of the day you want to watch.
We begin at 9:00 a.m. Pacific/noon Eastern with a question at the heart of PurposeBuilt100™: what happens after a company earns recognition for its impact?
In “Beyond the Badge,” we’ll hear what PurposeBuilt100™ winners learned while actually scaling their companies. Then we’ll dig into the productive tension between mission and profit in “Harder on Purpose” and ask an even tougher question: What actually scales—and what doesn’t survive the journey?
The 11:00 a.m. Pacific block turns from growth to the ways capital can reshape communities and industries. We’ll explore innovative approaches to waste, purposeful thrifting, the future of impact investing and “Capital as Activism: How the Crowd Builds Power, Place, and Change.”
At 2:00 p.m. Pacific / 5:00 p.m. Eastern, the conversation gets even more practical.
We’ll examine how founders can finance their visions on their own terms, why one growing company stopped leading its message with sustainability, what crowdfunding pioneers have learned from the front lines and how angel investors actually make decisions.
Then comes one of the centerpiece moments of SuperCrowd26.
At approximately 4:07 p.m. Pacific / 7:07 p.m. Eastern, four companies will pitch live before judges Paul Lovejoy, Sherwood Neiss and Léa Bouhelier-Gautreau.
The finalists could hardly be more different: Milk Care Co. (Harmony Baby Nutrition), Changemaker Education, Azure Printed Homes and Oshi span pediatric nutrition, education, sustainable housing and alternative seafood.
That diversity is exactly what makes the Live Pitch compelling.
The goal isn’t simply to hear four polished presentations. We want to watch experienced investors probe the assumptions behind them: Is there genuine customer demand? Can the business scale? Are the economics attractive? What does this round accomplish? What are the risks? What security is being offered? And does the company’s impact actually strengthen the business?
Those are questions every investor can borrow.
After the broadcast, Executive Access participants can join the 6:00 p.m. Pacific / 9:00 p.m. Eastern CEO networking session, where the conversations can continue directly with people across the SuperCrowd26 community.
And tomorrow, everything builds toward the inaugural PurposeBuilt100™ Showcase, when we reveal the rankings of 100 fast-growing, purpose-driven American companies.
For now, click a player above or head to SuperCrowd.tv.
Day Two is underway. I hope you’ll join us.
