Beacon Energy, with a valuation of $6 million, is raising funds on Honeycomb Credit. The company is revolutionizing the rooftop solar industry with its Gen2.0 Solar Fintech model, making solar energy more affordable for homeowners while offering lucrative opportunities for investors. Beacon Energy provides a solar-as-a-service model with a flat monthly fee, a savings guarantee, and no long-term commitment. The company benefits from proprietary insurance, construction, and installer distribution partnerships, leading to an industry-low customer acquisition cost. Beacon Energy is also recognized by Connecticut Innovations as a certified Angel Investment, offering investors a 25% transferable tax credit. Thomas Jankovich founded Beacon Energy and has previously built three successful solar companies. The company has been crafting high-quality, cultured dairy-free alternatives using organic, local, and seasonal ingredients in the Pacific Northwest for over 10 years. Originally a small wholesale operation selling to boutique stores and a vendor at the Portland State University Farmer's Market, Vtopian expanded in late 2023 by opening a brick-and-mortar cheese shop, offering a curated selection of plant-based cheeses and charcuterie accoutrements. Bokksu, with a valuation of $45 million, is raising funds on Republic. The company connects cultures through authentic Japanese snacks, gifts, and collectibles. Bokksu has generated over $100 million in lifetime revenue, shipped more than 2 million boxes, and expanded into 5,000+ retail stores, including CVS and Hot Topic. Founded by Danny Taing in 2016, Bokksu partners with family-owned businesses in Japan to share unique flavors and traditions.
