This Week’s New Crowdfunding Offerings Featuring Social Impact, Women in Leadership, and Underrepresented Founder Leadership
You can advertise in Superpowers for Good. Click to learn more.
Each week, Superpowers for Good shares a curated list of new investment offerings added to FINRA-registered crowdfunding portals and by broker-dealers. Using the SuperCrowd Classification Policy, we highlight offerings that qualify for Social Impact, Women in Leadership, and Underrepresented Founder Leadership based on publicly available information and objective criteria. We prioritize these categories and also include other newly launched offerings that may be of interest to our community.
We organize the opportunities into four groups:
Social Impact offerings
Women in Leadership offerings
Underrepresented Founder Leadership offerings
Other new offerings added during the week
In some cases, classification details become clear only after additional public information is available. When an offering meets the criteria, we include it in the appropriate category, even if it was not part of the original weekly list. See the categorized offerings below.

SuperCrowd Social Impact Offerings of the Week:
AquiPor, with a valuation of $65.6 million, is raising funds on StartEngine. Founded and led by CEO, President, Board Member, and Principal Accounting Officer Gregory Johnson, the company is developing infrastructure-grade porous concrete technology designed to address urban flooding, stormwater runoff pollution, and groundwater depletion. AquiPor’s proprietary additive, AquiCrete, transforms traditional concrete into permeable concrete capable of capturing, filtering, and infiltrating stormwater directly where it falls while maintaining the strength and durability required for large-scale infrastructure applications. The technology is designed to integrate seamlessly into standard concrete manufacturing processes for precast concrete, pour-in-place systems, and concrete pavers, creating a scalable solution for municipalities, developers, and infrastructure operators facing increasing environmental and regulatory pressures.
AquiPor is targeting a rapidly growing market driven by climate adaptation needs, public infrastructure investment, and tightening stormwater management regulations across U.S. cities. The company estimates that urban flooding events have caused more than $146 billion in damages since 1980, while U.S. cities discharge over 10 trillion gallons of polluted stormwater runoff annually into waterways. AquiPor’s solution aims to convert paved urban surfaces into distributed stormwater management systems capable of reducing flood risks, filtering pollutants, and supporting groundwater recharge. Independent third-party testing has demonstrated that AquiPor’s concrete can filter approximately 97.2% of common stormwater particles and 82% of tire wear toxins while maintaining infrastructure-grade performance characteristics. The company also believes its technology can reduce the carbon footprint of concrete production by lowering the amount of Portland cement required in concrete mixes.
Since its previous crowdfunding campaign, AquiPor has achieved several operational milestones, including third-party performance validation, installation of four demonstration projects, and completion of a paid pilot project sponsored by a public works agency. The company has also established pilot discussions and strategic engagement with municipal and corporate partners while participating in the Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator (LACI) accelerator ecosystem. AquiPor plans to operate through an asset-light licensing and engineering services model, generating revenue through manufacturing royalties, licensing agreements, engineering support, drainage modeling, and quality assurance services. Rather than building and operating manufacturing facilities directly, AquiPor intends to partner with regional manufacturers to scale distribution efficiently while generating recurring royalty-based revenue streams tied to concrete production volume.
The company believes its porous concrete technology has the potential to unlock a new category within sustainable infrastructure by solving long-standing issues associated with older permeable concrete products, including clogging, cracking, and structural weakness. AquiPor estimates that replacing just one mile of traditional city sidewalks with its technology could help return more than 2 million gallons of stormwater annually back into the natural water cycle. With increasing infrastructure spending, rising demand for climate-resilient urban development, and an expanding regulatory push for sustainable stormwater solutions, AquiPor aims to position itself as a scalable clean infrastructure technology company focused on building long-term water resilience for cities and communities. SuperCrowd Women in Leadership Offerings of the Week:
Kaylaan is raising funds on Honeycomb Credit. Founded and led by CEO Deepti Brambl, the company is a sustainable oral care brand focused on reducing plastic waste through zero-waste alternatives to traditional toothpaste and mouthwash products. Kaylaan develops toothpaste tablets, mouthwash tablets, and plant-based dental floss packaged in recyclable, compostable, or reusable materials, offering consumers a more environmentally friendly approach to daily oral care. The company manufactures all products in a cGMP-compliant and FDA-registered facility in New York, ensuring regulatory compliance, product safety, and quality standards while serving the growing market of health-conscious and eco-conscious consumers.
Kaylaan has established strong traction through both direct-to-consumer and wholesale channels, selling more than 150,000 units across platforms including Amazon, Walmart Marketplace, Faire, and partnerships with zero-waste and eco-conscious retailers throughout the United States. The company is also a Certified B Corporation with an impact score of 130, reflecting its commitment to sustainability, ethical sourcing, transparency, and responsible business operations. Its mission-driven approach and eco-friendly innovation have earned recognition from publications such as Forbes, MindBodyGreen, and Sustainable Jungle as the company works to disrupt the oral care industry with plastic-free alternatives. Kaylaan’s first crowdfunding offering was also featured as the SuperCrowd Impact Offering last year, highlighting the company’s mission-driven approach and growing impact in sustainable consumer products. Founder Deepti Brambl was also featured on the Superpowers For Good Show in an episode titled “Revolutionizing Oral Care with Plastic-Free Toothpaste Tablets,” where she shared her vision for sustainability and discussed the challenges of compliance while building an eco-friendly oral care brand.
The company plans to use proceeds from the current crowdfunding campaign to expand production capacity, acquire additional manufacturing equipment, support marketing initiatives, and cover FDA regulatory expenses required to maintain compliance and scale operations. With growing consumer awareness around sustainability, increasing demand for plastic-free personal care products, and an expanding retail footprint, Kaylaan aims to continue building a scalable oral care brand centered on environmental responsibility, product quality, and everyday wellness. SuperCrowd Underrepresented Founder Leadership Offerings of the Week:
The Firehouse Detroit is raising funds on Small Change. Founded and led by owner and developer Darnell Stewart, a retired Detroit Fire Chief with more than 35 years of service in the Detroit Fire Department, the company is transforming a historic Detroit firehouse into a community-oriented co-living and mixed-use space designed to support connection, affordability, and neighborhood revitalization. Located on Rosa Parks Boulevard in Detroit, the adaptive reuse project aims to preserve the building’s firefighting legacy while creating a modern co-living environment focused initially on individuals connected to emergency services and ultimately open to a broader community seeking affordable, community-centered housing.
The Firehouse Detroit is structured as a phased redevelopment of the historic two-story, 8,000-square-foot former firehouse. Phase one includes rehabilitation of the first floor into a flexible community and event space anchored by a commercial kitchen, collaborative gathering areas, and programming space for workshops, AI-focused training sessions, and mission-aligned community events. Phase two will complete the second-floor rehabilitation into a 25-bed co-living residential component featuring private sleeping quarters, communal kitchens and dining areas, lounge spaces, workspaces, fitness amenities, laundry facilities, and daily janitorial services. The project combines historic preservation with contemporary design and energy-efficient upgrades to create a premium co-living experience at approximately $100 per bed per day.
The project has already completed substantial renovation milestones, including replacement of the roof structure, restoration of dormers, removal of hazardous materials, installation of new electrical infrastructure with a dedicated transformer from DTE Energy, and extensive exterior brick restoration. The phased development strategy is designed to balance operational activation with long-term value creation while managing capital deployment through construction milestones. Total projected development costs are approximately $1.396 million, with funding expected through the current offering and additional grant programs, including the Michigan Community Revitalization Program, Motor City Match, and federal and state historic preservation incentives.
The Firehouse Detroit projects approximately $411,000 in annual gross revenue by year three, including co-living occupancy and first-floor commercial revenue, while targeting operational flexibility and sustainable free cash flow. The business differentiates itself through its historic character, community-focused model, and mission-driven approach that supports workforce housing and neighborhood engagement in Detroit’s evolving urban landscape. With Detroit’s ongoing revitalization, rising housing demand, and growing interest in flexible and community-oriented living models, The Firehouse Detroit aims to create a scalable example of adaptive reuse that honors the city’s history while addressing modern housing and community needs.
