The young people, Abhay Basireddy, Harun Vemulapalli and Harsha Vatsavayi, are youth ambassadors for Ekam USA, which was founded by Abhay’s mother, Neelima Reddy, a gastroenterologist, as a sister organization to Ekam Foundation, which was founded by Sai Lakshmi Balijepally. CaringCrowd is a simple-to-use crowdfunding platform that enables the Youth Ambassadors to quickly set up campaigns to raise money for specific Ekam projects.
