Twenty companies and projects have successfully closed their crowdfunding campaigns, raising a combined $8,900,170 from everyday investors.
Two of them are familiar faces. Eagle Cathedral City and Changemaker Education both pitched on the Live Pitch and joined Devin Thorpe on the show — and both reached their goals with the support of the crowd.
The rest of the class is just as varied: seven clean energy raises, from rooftop community solar to zero-interest efficiency loans and wireless EV charging; health innovations; Hawaiian spirits; and a national park getaway brand. Here’s what they raised and what it tells us.
The scoreboard
By the numbers
$8.9 million raised across 20 successfully funded campaigns on seven platforms.
3 raised $1 million or more: AutoCamp, Eagle Cathedral City and Ola Brew.
$2.29 million (26%) went to seven clean energy raises — solar, storage, efficiency loans and EV charging.
13 of 20 accepted investments of $100 or less; the two Climatize solar projects started at $10.
$151,432 was the median raise — proof that smaller, community-sized rounds succeed too.
Spotlight: two Live Pitch alumni, successfully funded
Both companies pitched on the Live Pitch and joined Devin on the show.
Eagle Cathedral City — $1,605,142
Portal: Wefunder · Founders: Phillip Nalwalker and Jeremy Nalwalker
About the company: Eagle Cathedral City is an upcoming leather bar and nightlife destination for gay men in the Palm Springs area, built to bring the LGBTQ+ community together. Even before opening, it built a following of more than 4,700 on Instagram.
The raise: a revenue share from $100, one of three campaigns in this group to top $1 million. Proceeds fund a complete rebuild of the interior and exterior patio, plus working capital.
Changemaker Education — $68,900
Portal: Wefunder · Founder: David Richards
About the company: Changemaker Education helps educators and community leaders launch personalized K-12 microschools with founder coaching, enrollment and marketing support, operating systems and its Mind Body Soul curriculum. Its asset-light model has no facilities or teachers on payroll; it earns a founder licensing fee plus a share of each school’s revenue. It reports 25 microschool founders with schools open or launching.
The raise: a SAFE from $100, clearing its $50,000 minimum target to fund technology, hiring, marketing and operating reserves.
Why it matters: both founders practiced their story in front of expert judges and a live audience before asking the crowd for money. Raising starts long before the campaign goes live.
Clean energy: seven raises, $2.29 million
More than a quarter of the money went to clean energy, and most of it came through debt and preferred investments that start at $10 or $100.

Three lessons from this class
1. Community is the moat. Eagle Cathedral City built an audience before it built a bar. Ola Brew is in 800 stores across its home state. AutoCamp sells experiences people already love. Founders who raise well usually have a community before they ask it for money.
2. Clean energy keeps finding everyday capital. Seven of these 20 raises were climate and energy projects, and the Havre de Grace community solar project was fully funded. Investors respond to concrete, local projects with clear benefits for their neighbors.
3. Small rounds count. The median raise was about $151,000, and 13 of 20 campaigns opened their doors to investors at $100 or less. Not every success story is a million-dollar headline.
