In fact, he reports, that over $400 million has been donated to organizations around the world. “We recently announced a $10.5 million commitment to nutrition, providing grants to over 36 organizations that focus on fresh food access and nutrition education,” Forrester adds. “Part of this commitment includes the establishment of the first-ever Newman’s Own Foundation Nutrition Cohort, which consists of 6 nonprofits and a research organization.” The six organizations supported will include: Fair Food Network (Ann Arbor, MI) FoodCorps (New York, NY) Food Trust (Philadelphia) National Farm to School Network (Chicago) Wellness in the Schools (New York, NY) Wholesome Wave (Bridgeport, CT) Please consider whether a friend or colleague might benefit from this piece and, if so, share it.
